Good Shepherd Home

Founded by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, the Good Shepherd Home provides a safe, nurturing environment for abused, at risk and abandoned children who have been removed from their homes by the magistrate or social services. The majority of the residents are young girls.

To improve the children’s living arrangements, the Jumby Bay Fund built an additional dormitory, replaced the home’s flooring and refurbished the bathroom facilities in 2011. In 2016 and 2017 we sponsored students at Swalings’ swimming clubs and summer camp.
